Current Hospital Projects Under Construction
All of the current projects are for large scale and full-service medical centers.
HonorHealth is in the middle of building their 6th hospital in Phoenix, a 210,000 square foot building. The new building will be called HonorHealth Sonoran Crossing Medical Center and located in the northern part of the city.
The Mayo Clinic is also under construction. They are expanding by doubling in size. It is projected to be a $648 million project.
At Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, The Phoenix Children’s Hospital is building a tower for women and children that will be around 382,000 square feet.
Also expanding is Dignity Health. Across two locations, they are adding on 600,000 square feet of the hospital.
In the east valley, Banner Ocotillo Medical Center is working on a $106 million project by expanding its Sun City Campus by adding on 245,000 additional square feet.
